Position Details

Requirements

• Master's/MPhil degree in Environmental Sciences or Wildlife Management
• 7+ years of professional experience in wildlife/aviation safety
• Minimum of 3 years of field experience in wildlife surveys, wildlife activity monitoring, and hazard management techniques
• Strong knowledge of wildlife hazard management strategies related to airport and flight safety
• Familiarity with regulatory standards and environmental safety protocols at airports
• Ability to assess, implement, and monitor effective wildlife hazard control measures
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive wildlife hazard management strategies to mitigate risks to aviation safety
• Monitor wildlife activities and conduct regular surveys at airports
• Work closely with airport management teams to create safety measures for both wildlife and flight operations
• Ensure compliance with local and international aviation safety regulations regarding wildlife management
• Provide training and support to staff in wildlife hazard mitigation techniques and strategies
• Conduct risk assessments and analyze data to propose actionable solutions for wildlife safety
• Work in close coordination with aviation and environmental experts to align practices with safety management systems
